Put up the other three walls. The basement goes all the way around now: a workbench, an arcade cabinet that doesn't take coins yet, and a door I'm not ready to open.
Hit WALK and have a look.

Baked the shadows. The first try took my laptop down with it. Turns out it wanted the graphics card, and now it takes 15 seconds.
Also made the light cooler and the walls darker. Moodier.

Moved the whole room into Blender, so I can shuffle things around without typing numbers. The DeLorean made the trip.

Accidentally overwrote the whole site with a js13k entry. Oops.
So I rebuilt it as my basement: pick a floppy, it goes in the drive, the game plays on the monitor.

RYAN'S ROOM
Games and creative coding by Ryan B. Malm. The games are on the floppies in the box up there: most were made for js13k (the whole game, zipped, in 13 kilobytes), and lately some in Picotron. Pick a disk and it goes in the drive and plays on the monitor, or use the list below. The smaller experiments live on the computer's hard drive, in C:\DEMOS.

C:\DEMOS
Creative coding experiments and small toys, kept on the hard drive instead of a floppy. Click the monitor, type CD DEMOS, then a name. HELP lists the rest of MalmOS.

- Click a disk to pick it up and read the label, then INSERT DISK (or → / Enter). ← or Esc puts it back.
- Once a game loads, click the screen so it gets your keyboard.
- Click the monitor with no game running to type at MalmOS. Try DIR, DISKS, INSERT GREEBLE.
- Type IRC at MalmOS to chat with whoever else is in the room.
- There's a very small text adventure on the hard drive: CD \GAMES, then BASEMENT. Not every folder shows up in DIR.
- Disks you've played get a tick, here and on the label.
- ■ QUIT goes back to the prompt and leaves the disk in the drive.
- ⏏ EJECT (or the little button on the drive) puts the disk back in the box.
- ⛶ FULL PAGE opens the game on its own page, full screen, no basement.
- The lamp has a switch. Some stickers glow in the dark.
- You can link straight to a disk, e.g. #greeble.

The DeLorean on the desk is "Delorean - time machine - low poly" by Meloque, licensed CC BY 4.0. The room is built with three.js.
